Andrea Salas is a media executive and content creator with over 30 years of experience in the television industry. She began her career at Televisa in Mexico, rising to Executive Producer and creative lead across scripted, unscripted, and live broadcast productions. She later served as VP of Scripted Production and Operations at NBCUniversal Telemundo Studios in Miami, overseeing high-impact series for the U.S. Hispanic market.
Throughout her career, Andrea has developed original formats and large-scale events from concept to screen, and led the production of 25 annual television marathons between 1997 and 2022. Her experience includes political election coverage, 24+ hour live events, and the operational launch of music and news networks.
She has collaborated with leading global studios—co-producing with Team Coco and adapting formats from Fremantle, Zodiac Media, and Disney for Latin American audiences. She has also led special broadcasts of Viacom formats and produced international events including Miss Universe, Miss World, and award specials with The Latin Recording Academy, such as the Latin GRAMMYs and GRAMMYs.
Now based in the U.S., Andrea continues to create, produce, and lead projects across formats and markets, with a strong focus on impactful, audience-driven storytelling.
